After the recent foul behaviour surrounding reaction to the England vs. Italy game, we felt it necessary to make a very clear and concise statement. Despite our unfortunate lack of shock, we are deeply saddened by the actions and words of many.
It is not the first time that this industry has displayed discriminatory outdated behaviour. A long overdue pro-active approach needs to be instigated whereby equal opportunities are provided and tangible action is taken against prejudice.
At Knightsbridge, we do not tolerate any discriminatory behaviour, whether this be directed at race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, marriage or age. Further to this, we do not and will not accept or tolerate instruction to discriminate from any of our clients.
Unlawful direct discrimination against people with 'protected characteristics' will leave Estate Agents, Vendors and Landlords deservedly liable for breaching the Equality Act.
For too long, racism has not been confronted or discussed. Do not be on the wrong side of history.
